By today, the DoT and EPA were supposed to have proposed a draft for the 2017-2025 Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) law that regulates fuel economy for vehicles sold in the US. But it’s not happening. Word on the street is that more time is needed to hammer out the details and that the draft should instead be released around November.

A Quick Taste Tesla has released a sneak peak video that shows a few electric Model S Alphas driving around a track. It’s only a preview, so the video is short, but there’s a longer one below with shots of the Model S zipping buy with only tire noises, a nice reminder that there are only electrons under the hood (well, technically, under the hood is a trunk, but you know what I mean…)….
