White House Delays 2017-2025 Fuel Economy Standards

By today, the DoT and EPA were supposed to have proposed a draft for the 2017-2025 Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) law that regulates fuel economy for vehicles sold in the US. But it’s not happening. Word on the street is that more time is needed to hammer out the details and that the draft should instead be released around November.
