"Hydro produces a continuous supply of electrical energy in comparison to other small-scale renewable technologies. The peak energy season is during the winter months when large quantities of electricity are required." so whit this said is this form of energy more reliable than the energy that we normally use?

This leads me to a question I asked in another thread, and that's what is the definition of "Micro Hydro Power"?
I grew up in Ontario so I'm familiar with the hydro power here, and the occasional brownouts and blackouts.

Much of the reliability of this process is _base_d upon the effectiveness or ineffectiveness in regards to being able to harness it.
