I'd like to start by asking what is the definition of Micro Hydro Power?

Is it a system that a consumer can use for a single dwelling?

Micro-hydro is basically small applications using water power. Yes it can be used for homes. I saw a show on the Science channel that uses a Turgo Micro-hydro Generator to power the electricity for a house at a summer camp.

In simple terms it puts up the meaning as small water power, but what exactly would this power be helpful in??
