Have you read about all the convention centers that are going green? I think that's great since these are such large places with great impact.
Some things they are doing are planting native species that don't require as much water in the landscaping. Also, recycling more of their waste and making the buildings more energy efficient.

I agree that's a great idea, because convention centers bring together people from so many geographical areas.
Hopefully these people can be influential in their own areas and spread the word.

Yes, and it's not just in America. Australia is also planning a large green certified convention center.

That sounds great. Speaking of Australia, I can't help imagining the structure which I believe is the Sydney opera house.
I wonder if that was constructed with green concerns in mind?
