I remember seeing this on the web some time ago, and at that time I thought it was just merely fake, but it seems now that this is actually more than just a dream.
Anybody ever heard of water powered cars? It would be a great concept that could be expanded on in the future.
I admit it sounds too good to be true, but I did a quick search, found what looked like a scam and then I found this _link_ which looks more interesting:
For a moment my heart stopped when I thought about a land car running on a water tank. But as I visited the site I found that it's about cars than run..on water. Still, excellent break trough, this means there future will hold no tax on ridding on water,ha.

Just at a glance, it looks to me like you can also drive some of them on water, but I get the impression that you can replace gasoline in general by "splitting water by electrolysis and creating hydrogen/oxygen gas."
I do find that page a little confusing. :_b_link__:
Was really confused by this post at first but now I get it. I think there was a pretty big contest this past year among college students to come up with a concept/design for a vehicle that could run on water. They came up with some pretty interesting designs and ideas. Going to see if I can find a _link_.
