I was wondering what folks here thought of Al Gore's movie "An Inconvenient Truth"?
I haven't seen it yet, but I would like to one of these days.

You know most people don't find anything positive about hearing the truth. This is something that most people run from. I personally thouhgt the movie was good, it touched a nerve but I understood and agreed to the points that were being made.

I liked the movie, but I am finding CNN's documentary, Planet in Peril more refreshing.

The problem with the documentary was that the bulk of it was a filmed lecture which is hardly a documentary film

I have seen the documentary lately, the content seems quite convincing before second party opinions have been heard. But after watching some documentary's on the rebuttal of Al Gore's Inconvenient Truth, his documentary seems bloated and some statistics may have been misleading.

I actually enjoyed it.I admire Al Gore and the Oscar he received was well earned.I admit the documentary is a little far fetched and some information might not be that accurate.Besides this,it is the truth,and most of the documentaries about it are from people who have a hard time dealing with the message.
