The group have a patented process that uses steam to thermally treat unsorted municipal, light industrial, commercial, hospital and agricultural wastes and sewage screenings to produce a cellulose-based homogenous fiber that is inert refuse derived fuel (RDF), from which recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, glass and batteries can be mechanically extracted.
